Shooting Video Games

For kids today, it is no wonder that they are going around and shooting real guns because of all the shooting video games that are being produced. In fact, there are so many games that consist of shooting either people or games, that there are too many to mention.

When it comes to video games, the Xbox has many shooter games for young people to choose from. In fact, in many of those games they are required to kill other people (which are supposed to be bad). One Xbox video game is the pariah shooter. Also, other video games are playstation 2 shooter games. Along with the x-box and play station 2, there are also video games for the game boy advance; where a shooter is needed.

When it comes to shooter video games, young people like them so much because it is realistic to them. Not that they want to shoot people, but it is a way for them to relieve some of their stress; by playing the video shooting games. However, when playing the video games one thing that they should realize, is that there is a difference between fiction and non-fiction. In fact, many times people have confused to two, and they went out and really killed people thinking that it was okay; because he/she did that in a shooting video game.

Many things when people make video games, is how it will affect people in real life. There have been times that video game engineers have made video games from real life situations. In fact, there are Colombine shootings-video games made. Those video games were made from the Colombine massacre, which was a high school shooting. Another type of game that many people are getting is free terrorist shooting video games.

Because there are so many shooting video games on the market, many companies are competing with one another for the public. Therefore, for many of the companies they are making games that are more and more gruesome; which means shooting more people or in mass destruction. However, when the games are being produced the only thing that the companies are thinking about is money; not how it will affect the minds of young kids.

If you are a parent and buying your son or daughter a shooting video game, it is really important that you discuss the difference between a game and real life; and when playing the game it is only a game. The child should know that even though it is a game, it is still wrong to shoot people!
